Minigames were brought up in a thread regarding a lottery, and they would be a good idea. Here are some possibilities. The minigames could be accessed by people in towns, or perhaps there could be a particular town where you can play them. You can win minor gold and such from them.

"Slap The Dolyak"
A dolyak is in a pit below, all players are on the top. They will have to attack the dolyak, and it will respond by running away a bit, kind of like being "pushed" by the attack. Whoever gets the Dolyak to their "circle" wins. Each player has a circle in an area of the pit. Everyone could have disabled weapons and maybe one skill like "Slap Dolyak", like in the wintersday snowball fight. Maybe some class-only skills?

"Twelve Angry...Monsters?"
Players will not be able to attack in this part. The minigame will spawn 12 various monsters. This is simple, whoever survives the longest wins.

How about games/sports? I suggested these in a seperate thread, and feel they might be fun to implement.

An Ascalonian version of football designed along the same lines as the Wintersday Snowball Fight would be kinda fun.

Or maybe baseball.

I smell an easy exploit. someone would just have to make some bot and the bot would play the game all day

I like mini game in GW.. add some light heartness into the game.. as well as offer something more to do...

but what would be a good one is the question.
I like the "Slap The Dolyak", but would change it to "Pig Chaser"
